Our Board of Trustees oversees and guides the long-term strategies for the ongoing success of Lexington County Public Library. They embrace our commitment to enhancing our communities through their time, their insight and their dedication. There are nine voting members on the Board who advocate for library services and are responsible for approving policies and budget requests.
Board members are appointed by the Lexington County Council and serve in unpaid positions.
The Lexington County Public Library Board of Trustees generally meets the last Monday of the month in the Board Room at Lexington Main Library at 5440 Augusta Road. The Board does not typically meet in December. Dates and times are subject to change.
