Need materials you can’t find at Lexington County Library? Try Interlibrary Loan, a service for accessing books, articles, movies, music and other materials from other libraries — in the state or across the country.

Guidelines for Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan is available to anyone ages 15+ with a Lexington County library card.
For items published in the last six months, submit a Purchase Request.
There’s a $2.50 fee for each item (1 book title, 5 articles or 5 reels of film) received. If we can’t fill the request, you won’t be charged.
Patron will be notified when request is ready for pickup.
Items will be checked out for 21 days. Renewals are at the discretion of the lending library.
