Guidelines

  • Anyone with a Lexington County Library card can request items.
  • Only published or released items will be considered for purchase.
  • Bestsellers are routinely purchased as part of our collection and don't need to be requested.
  • Patron will be notified of the decision and, if the item is purchased, will have the option of placing it on hold.
  • Purchases must follow the library’s Collection Development Policy.
