Got Fines? Give Food. Food for Fines is Back at Lexington County Public Library

Lexington County Public Library will waive late fees for overdue materials that are returned during our second annual Food for Fines to be held November 4-10, 2019. Patrons who return current overdue materials with a donation of non-perishable food items to any of our 10 library branches during this time will have fines for those overdue items waived. All food donations will go to Mission Lexington.

Waiving overdue fines not only brings back materials to be shared with others but clears your slate to borrow more. No fines? No problem. Your donation is still welcome and helps Mission Lexington fill nutritional needs during this holiday season.
