Last year on August 14, Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens was released and after only one month this sensational story caught the attention of Reese Witherspoon and became her September Book Club selection. However, it did not stop there — a few months later, Witherspoon’s production company Hello Sunshine bought the movie rights. Unfortunately, there is no word on when the movie adaptation is going to be released, but we do know it’s coming.
