NOTARY PUBLIC

The library offers Notary Public service free of charge as a benefit for the residents of Lexington County.

Call ahead to verify a notary is available at the time.
Limited to three (3) documents per person, per visit.
Not available for marriages, deeds, mortgages, codicils or depositions.
Documents should be in English.
Valid government-issued photo identification is required for signee and witnesses.
Staff can’t serve as witness.
Notaries will record transactions in a record book.
Notaries will comply with S.C. Code Ann. §26-1-10 et. seq.
