Historical markers highlight how places both grand and unassuming have played important roles in the history of the Palmetto State. Edwin Breeden, the South Carolina historical marker coordinator, will give a presentation on his book, A Guidebook to South Carolina Historical Markers, and offer insights as to how these roadside markers identify and interpret valuable places.
