Looking for something to do this summer? Check out our calendar of events where you’ll find programs for all ages and a wide variety of interests. The library has something for everyone.

REASONS TO ATTEND SUMMER READING PROGRAMS:

Literary Events: Meet local authors, attend book signings and enjoy literary discussions. Consider joining a book club where you can take part in lively discussions in a friendly, casual atmosphere.
Hobbies & Interests: Learn a new skill and explore a new hobby — such as sewing, crocheting, knitting, crafting and gardening. We'll provide the know-how and materials to help you take your creativity to the next level.
Service Opportunities: Discover ways to give back to the community and improve the world around you. Whether volunteering at the library or participating in hands-on service projects, you can connect with others to build a better community.
Boredom Busters: Give your kids something worthwhile to do on a hot summer day. We have storytimes, musical activities, theatrical performances, STEAM programs, game times and more to keep children and teens engaged all summer long.

SUMMER READING ISN'T JUST FOR KIDS — IT'S FOR ADULTS, TOO.

The library offers a Summer Reading program for all ages. You can register online or at your local branch and earn free items as you log your reading all summer long. Prizes include gift baskets, gift certificates to local restaurants and tickets to special events — like Blowfish Baseball games.
