Handmade: Jewelry

Learn how to make your own jewelry. Internationally published and award-winning Canadian jewelry artist and teacher Sue Charette-Hood will be teaching us how to create beautiful, beaded and wearable artwork. To register, call (803) 785-3272. Materials will be provided to the first 10 registrants. Additional attendees are welcome to observe the presentation.

Kid Zone: Leaf Printing

Fall into some fun afterschool stories and leaf printing. This is an outdoor event. Be sure to bring chairs or blankets for better enjoyment. In case of inclement weather, this program will be canceled. Registration required. Activities are geared toward students in grades K–5.

Tween Extreme: Cupcake Wars

Compete to create the best-looking cupcake. Bragging rights will, of course, be awarded to the winner. Registration required. Activities are geared toward students in grades 4–7.

TeenScene: Game Night

It’s game on — this program is full of fun from start to finish. Challenge your friends to show off your strategic gaming moves. (grades 6–12)

STEAM Storytime: Outside of This World

Explore science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) concepts with your child. Our zany scientists are exploring space-themed picture books and take-home activities. This is an outdoor event. Be sure to bring chairs or blankets for better enjoyment. In case of inclement weather, this program will be canceled. (ages 3–6)
