Handmade: Ikebana with Lin Ko

Discover Ikebana, the art of beautifully arranged cut flowers, leaves and stems that evolved in Japan over seven centuries ago and create your own flower arrangement. Learn the artistic skill of printmaking and make your own prints. Registration required. Activities are geared towards students in grades 6–12.

Kid Zone: Hopscotch

Learn to play hopscotch and take home chalk and an animal–themed stone to play at continue the fun at home. This is an outdoor event. Be sure to bring chairs or blankets for better enjoyment. In case of inclement weather, this program will be canceled. (grades K–5)
