Explore the role of a mayor — learn about the responsibilities and leadership it takes to hold the elected office. What’s it like to be mayor? How does the mayor help the community? Find out the answers to these questions and more from the City of Cayce’s Mayor Elise Partin. Elected in 2008, Partin holds the distinction of being the first female to serve in the office. Activities are geared toward students in grades 4–12.
