National Poetry Month

Poetry Contest

Each year, the month of April is set aside as National Poetry Month, a time to celebrate poets and their craft. It was organized and introduced by the Academy of American Poets as a way to increase awareness and appreciation of poetry in the United States. In honor of National Poetry Month, Pelion Branch Library hosts its annual Poetry Contest.
